Vicky Kaushal Starrer Sam Bahadur Set To Hit The Screens On Dec 1, 2023

Mumbai: Sam Bahadur, Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film now has a release date. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres next year.

Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in Meghna Gulzar’s directorial, Sam Bahadur.

The movie will be released on December 1, 2023, the producers said on Thursday. The teaser of the movie was released today, exactly one year before its theatrical release.

Vicky can be seen portraying Manekshaw in the teaser, marching with his back to the camera while his soldiers move aside to make room for him. A battalion of army officers are shown opening the way for Sam Bahadur. Since the movie’s announcement, people have been talking about Vicky’s striking likeness to Sam and his accurate representation of the character, and now that the release date has been announced, anticipation is only growing. Sanya Malhotra plays Silloo, Manekshaw’s wife, in the movie, and Fatima Sana Shaikh portrays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

The life and times of Manekshaw, one of India’s greatest combat heroes, are the basis of the film “Sam Bahadur.” Sam Manekshaw served in the Army for four decades and five conflicts. He was the first Indian Army officer to be given the title of Field Marshal, and Bangladesh was founded as a result of his military triumph in the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
