Twin Sisters Marry Same Guy in Maharashtra, Groom Booked

Mumbai: Twin sisters married the same man in a ritualistic ceremony held in Maharashtra’s Solapur district. Both the sisters, Rinki and Pinky married their childhood friend Atul.

Meanwhile, video clips of the marriage ceremony went viral on social media. Locals as well as netizens have started to ask, whether such marriage is valid or not under the Hindu Marriage Act.

A complaint based on non-cognisable (NC) offence under Section 494 (marrying again during lifetime of husband or wife) of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the groom at Akluj police station.

The two girls are said to be IT professionals whereas Atul has a  travel agency business in Mumbai.
