Bats, Pads, Cricketing Equipments of Delhi Capitals Players Stolen from Their Luggage

New Delhi: Players of Delhi Capitals, a franchise of Indian Premier League (IPL), were shocked to find their bats, pads and other cricketing equipment stolen from their luggage when they landed from Bangalore at the Delhi Airport.

The players came to know about this theft a day after their arrival in Delhi as their kit bags from cargo reached them a day after.

Almost all the players of Delhi Capitals team have lost their bats. Batter Yash Dhull has lost five of his bats. According to sources some of the bats of foreign players were worth Rs 1 Lakh each.

Delhi Capitals is at the bottom place in the points table of IPL 2023. They have lost all of their five matches so far. Their next match will be against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday.
