8-Hour Bandh Cripples Normalcy In Jaleswar

Jaleswar: The 8-hour bandh call by the Jaleshwar Youth Students’ Organisation demanding the creation of a separate Jaleshwar Sub-Division paralysed normal life across the district on Monday.

Reportedly, the bandh is effective from 7.00 am to 3 pm today.

All government offices, business establishments, and educational institutions remained closed, while public transport vehicles were off the road creating immense problems for the locals.

Meanwhile, the  Jaleshwar Youth Students’ Organisation has appealed to all to support the shutdown by stating that the bandh call was given in the interest of all the residents of Jaleshwar.
