Paris police shot at a woman who allegedly threatened others on a train. This marks the increased anti-terror alert in France since a fatal stabbing at a school allegedly by an Islamic extremist.
Police officers opened fire at the woman when she didn’t respond to their warnings. A passenger on the train had called the emergency services to inform that a woman covering her face was making threats.
Because of this incident, a metro and suburban train station that serves the Francois Mitterrand National Library in eastern Paris was evacuated.
