Minor Boy Goes Missing After Jumping into River in Odisha’s Paradip; Rescue Ops On

Paradip: A class 10 student is missing after reportedly jumping into a river in Paradip, Jagatsinghpur district, on Wednesday.

The missing student has been identified as Trilochan Mansingh, who had recently appeared for his class 10 board exams.

According to locals, Trilochan left clothes and a mobile phone on a bridge near Atharabanki before jumping into the river.

The incident unfolded when some labourers, busy with their work at the bridge, saw the boy’s jump and immediately alerted the authorities.

Upon arrival at the scene, the police secured the abandoned belongings and mobilized the Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) for assistance. The ODRAF team initiated a search and rescue operation, yet the boy remains unlocated, according to the latest report.

Efforts continue as authorities work tirelessly to locate the missing minor amidst the challenging circumstances.
