Campaigning for 1st Phase Polls in Odisha to End Today Evening

Bhubaneswar: Campaigning for the first phase of voting in Odisha will end on Saturday evening.

In the first phase, voting will be held in Kalahandi, Koraput, Nabarangpur and Berhampur Lok Sabha seats and 28 assembly seats under it. Voting will be held from 7 am to 6 pm on May 13.

On the last day of campaigning, leaders of different political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters. As last ditch effort, candidates are busy in door to door campaign, rallies, road shows and meetings. .

BJP has tried its best with visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union ministers and other senior national-level leaders to Odisha constituencies where voting will be held on May 13.

The campaign of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has been spearheaded by its president and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and 5T Chairman VK Pandian.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission has beefed up security arrangements to ensure a free and fair election in Odisha on May 13.
