New Delhi: Till 11 am on Monday, the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 phase 4 saw a voter turnout of 25 per cent, as per the data shared by the Election Commission of India.
The voting is currently underway on 96 Lok Sabha seats in over 9 states and one Union Territory.
West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest turnout of votes till 11 am, while Jammu and Kashmir and Maharashtra saw the lowest.
The state-wise voter turnout till 11 am:
West Bengal: 32.78 per cent
Andhra Pradesh: 23.10 per cent
Bihar: 22.54 per cent
Jammu And Kashmir: 14.94 per cent
Jharkhand: 27.40 per cent
Madhya Pradesh: 32.38 per cent
Maharashtra: 17.51 per cent
Odisha: 23.28 per cent
Telangana: 24.31 per cent
Uttar Pradesh: 27.12 per cent
A total of 1717 candidates are in the fray for 96 parliamentary constituencies.
