Truck Crushes 2 Youths to Death in Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Two youths were crushed to death by a speeding iron-loaded truck near Balikuda bridge on NH-16 in Cuttack district on Tuesday.

The identity of the deceased youths has not been ascertained yet.

The victims were on their way to Cuttack from Bhubaneswar side when the truck hit their scooter and ran over the duo after they fell down on the road. Both of them died on the spot.

Police have seized the truck and detained its driver for interrogation. The bodies were sent for post-mortem.
