Youth Drowns in Udaipur Quarry Lake While Filming Reel of His 150 ft Jump

Jaipur: A youth drowned after jumping down 150 feet into a lake at a stone quarry to film Instagram Reels in Rajasthan’s Udaipur.

According to the information provided by the police on Sunday, the deceased was identified as Udaipur’s Dinesh Meena, who had come to the quarry along with four friends to shoot Instagram Reels.

A friend of Dinesh had at first slipped off the cliff to fall into the deep water. But he managed to come out safely.

Then Dinesh jumped into the water from a height of around 150 feet. But he did not come out. His worried friends informed the police. Divers and local police recovered his body after three hours of search operation.

On May 21, Tausif, an 18-year-old youngster in Sahibganj district of Jharkhand drowned after he jumped into the deep water of a quarry lake from a 100 ft height to make an Instagram reel.
