Mumbai: The services of 10 guides and 10 safari vehicles in Maharashtra’s Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) were suspended by the authorities for blocking the movement of a tiger.

It is alleged that on May 17, some safari vehicles obstructed the movement of tiger T-114 in the reserve, said the authorities of the TATR in a release.

Following news reports about the incident, an inquiry was initiated following which the services of 10 guides and 10 safari vehicles were suspended for one month from Sunday.

Added to it, the TATR authorities have decided to prohibit entry of tourists to some areas of the tiger reserve where such incidents are more likely to occur, the release added.
