Indigo Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Mumbai Following Bomb Threat

Mumbai: An IndiGo flight between Chennai and Mumbai made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport on Saturday after receiving a bomb threat.

In a press release, the IndiGO authorities said that flight 6E 5314 operating from Chennai to Mumbai had received a bomb threat.

“Upon landing in Mumbai, the crew followed protocol and the aircraft was taken to an isolation bay as per security agency guidelines. All passengers have safely disembarked the aircraft,” the IndiGO statement informed.

The plane is being thoroughly checked. It will be positioned back in the terminal area after completion of all necessary security checks.
