‘Bomb Threat’ Delays Chennai-Kolkata IndiGo Flight by 2 Hrs

Chennai: A ‘bomb’ scare delayed a Chennai-Kolkata IndiGo flight by 2 hours on Monday morning.

According to sources, a call which warned that a bomb would get exploded in that flight was received at the IndiGo Call Centre located at Thuraipakkam in Chennai.

Following this bomb threat, the flight was immediately moved to an ‘isolated bay’ for a thorough security check. But no suspicious material was found in the plane.

After the completion of security procedures, the flight departed from the Chennai airport at 10.30 am.
