Monsoon to Reach Odisha Early This Yr, Check Next 7-Day Weather Forecast

Bhubaneswar: The conditions are favourbale for the advancement of Southwest Monsoon to south Odisha, said the weather experts, adding that hot and humid conditions will continue to prevail in several parts of Odisha during the next four days.

Odisha is expected to welcome early onset of monsoon this year. According to the IMD, many places in the state will experience thunderstorms and rain accompanied by lightning during next four days.

Odisha Weather Forecast For Next 7 Days:

Day 1 (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 06.06.2024)

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of south Odisha and one or two places over the districts of north Odisha.

YELLOW WARNING:-(BE UPDATED): Thunderstorms with lightning accompanied by gusty surface wind speeds reaching 40-50 kmph are very likely to occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Malkangiri, Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, and Bargarh. Hot and humid weather conditions are very likely to prevail at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati.
