New Delhi: Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina are among the top foreign leaders to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India for a third consecutive term.
Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck will also attend the oath-taking ceremony of Modi. Mauritius PM Pravind Jugnauth is also invited.
As per reports, Modi is expected to take oath on June 8 at 8 pm. The BJP-led NDA has crossed the majority mark by winning 293 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. The opposition INDIA bloc has secured 234 seats.
