Unidentified Gunman Shoots Youth in Village of Ganjam District

Berhampur: An unidentified assailant shot a youth at Kusapalli village under the Bhanjnagar police station limits of Ganjam district.

The youth was shot at while he was near the village pond. The injured youth identified as Nilu Bisoyi has been shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhmapur.

The identity of the assailant and the reason behind the shooting is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, Nilu was staying at a relative’s home in the Kusapalli village. He was reportedly shot in the stomach. Local police have started an investigation into the firing incident. Efforts are on to identify and nab the assailant.
