Another FIR Registered Against Prajwal Revanna For Sexual Harassment

Bengaluru: Former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna is now embroiled in a fourth FIR as part of an ongoing sexual harassment scandal. Police sources reveal that the latest charges include stalking and criminal intimidation.

The new FIR also implicates three others, including ex-BJP MLA Preetham Gowda from Hassan. They allegedly shared images captured by Revanna during the reported harassment incident via video call.

The charges have been filed under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the IT Act.

Revanna is currently in police custody following his arrest upon returning from Germany on May 31. Before his return, Interpol had issued a Blue Corner Notice seeking information on his whereabouts, while a Special Court had issued an arrest warrant on May 18.

This latest development brings the total number of cases against Revanna to four, including allegations of rape. The scandal first came to light when explicit videos allegedly involving Revanna circulated in Hassan before the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Subsequently, the 33-year-old grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda lost his bid to retain the Hassan parliamentary seat.
