Dengue Panic In Odisha, 18 Affected, 11 Hospitalized In Balangir Dist

Balangir: Dengue panic has stuck Saintala town of Balangir district. According to sources, 18 people were infected by dengue in the area and 11 of them were admitted to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College in Balangir.

According to reports, Director of Public Health, Dr. Nilakantho Mishra has informed that 350 dengue patients have been identified in Odisha so far this year.

The number of dengue patients has increased twice this year compared to last year.

All CDMOs have been directed to remain prepared for treatment of dengue by having special dengue wards in all district headquarter hospitals (DHH). All districts have been alerted to keep platelet stocks ready.
