People Loot Fish from Exhibition Attended by Nitish Kumar in Bihar

Patna: People looted live fish kept at an exhibition organized during an event attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Saharsa district on Friday.

Creating a huge chaos people jumped into the biofloc tank of the fisheries department and looted away all the fish in it as soon as Nitish Kumar left the site.

The Bihar Chief Minister attended various government programmes in the Saharsa district and visited this exhibition at Amarpur.

At the exhibition, the fisheries department had installed a biofloc in which a lot of live fish were kept.

When the CM left the spot, the crowd people, especially children and adolescents jumped into the tank to take away the live fish.

As reported by India Today, the District Fisheries Officer Subodh Kumar said that they had organised a demonstration for the Chief Minister, but ended up suffering losses. The fish was looted and the biofloc tank was damaged in the process causing a loss of around Rs 45,000.
