At Least 4 Killed, Several Injured in Mass Shooting in US’ Alabama

Alabama (US): At least four people were killed, and several others were injured in a mass shooting in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday night.

The incident occurred around 11 pm local time in the Five Points South area, a popular entertainment hub near the University of Alabama, known for its restaurants and bars, according to ABC News.

Birmingham police, along with firefighters, responded to the scene, and investigations are ongoing. Authorities believe multiple shooters were involved, as reported by CNN.

Police officials found two men and a woman unresponsive with gunshot wounds at the scene, who were pronounced dead. Another victim succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

The victims were discovered on the sidewalks and streets of one of Birmingham’s busiest nightlife areas, Officer Truman Fitzgerald told CNN.
