Woman, Her 3 Children Die in Bee Attack in Jharkhand’s Ranchi

Ranchi: Four of a family including a woman and her three children died after a swarm of bees attacked and stung them in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi.

The deceased were identified as Jyoti Gadi and her three children. The incident occurred on Saturday (Sept 21) when Jyoti and her children entered a well near her maternal home in the Tupudana area of Ranchi, to have a bath.

The woman and her children had gone there to spend the weekend. While they were bathing in the well, a swarm of bees started attacking them.

Others in the area managed to save themselves by rushing to safety. The woman and her children could not be saved in time and they died of bee stings.

Local police recovered their bodies from the well and sent them for post-mortem.
