Over 92 Lakh Women Applied for Subhadra Yojana; First Installment to Reach All by March 8: Dy CM Pravati Parida

Bhubaneswar: Over 92 lakh women have applied for benefits under the Subhadra Yojana, and the Odisha government has already disbursed the first installment to 25.11 lakh beneficiaries, announced Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida on Wednesday.

Parida assured that women who have applied but haven’t received the first installment will get it soon.

“As of now, 92 lakh women have registered for Subhadra Yojana, and the figure is likely to touch 1 crore by the weekend,” she stated.

She further added, “Beneficiaries awaiting the first installment can expect the amount to be credited to their bank accounts by March 8. The transfer is being processed online, which is causing delays. However, all beneficiaries will receive the second installment on International Women’s Day, March 8.”

Parida also confirmed that the four slabs of the Subhadra Yojana will be finalised shortly. She clarified that all applicants, except taxpayers, are eligible for the monetary assistance.
