1 Kg Gold, Silver Ornaments Looted from Jewellery Shop Owner in Gajapati Dist

Paralakhemundi: Unidentified miscreants allegedly snatched away gold and silver ornaments weighing around one kilogram from a jewellery shop owner in Mohana of Gajapati district on Wednesday night.

As per reports, at around 10 pm, the looters targeted the owner of Srihari Jewellery, while he was pulling down the shutter of his shop located at Mohana market.

Two bike-borne miscreants snatched away the bag containing the gold and silver jewellery from his hand and escaped from the spot.

As per the victim, there was around one kg of gold and silver ornaments in the bag.

Following a complaint lodged by him, Mohana police have started an investigation to identify and arrest the culprits.
