Three Of A Family Get Life Sentence for Murder Committed in 2011 In Ganjam Dist

Bhubaneswar: Three persons including a woman hailing from a single family were awarded life sentence and fine by the Aska Additional District & Sessions Court on Thursday fro a murder they had committed in 2011.

The convicts included Khadal Pradhan, his son Babu Pradhan and daughter Brahma Kumari. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them. In default of payment of fine the convicts shall have to undergo imprisonment for four months more.

As per the chargsheet filed against them, the three convicts had murdered one Bulu Bisoyi at Puruna Bori village under Gangpur police station limits of Ganjam district on March 15, 2011.
