Ranchi Man Convicted for Sex With Wife Against Her Will

Ranchi: A man was convicted by a court in Ranchi for having physical relations with his wife against her will, reported India Today. The court will pronounce the punishment to the convict on September 30.

As per a complaint filed by his wife, a case was registered against the convict identified as Randhir in 2015 in Ranchi for making physical relations with his wife against her will under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

A local court in Ranchi has convicted the man in the case after a trial of more than nine years. The court will pronounce the punishment on September 30.

In 2016, the woman also filed a dowry case against Randhir.
