Shramdaan Organised at Puri Railway Station as Part of Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign

Puri: As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, the East Coast Railway organised a Shramdaan at Puri Railway Station.

Various activities were conducted during the event, including Shramdaan by railway officials, two Nukkad Nataks, a Swachhata rally in the circulating area and on the platform, and the distribution of eco-friendly carry bags to passengers.

The event was led by Shri M.K. Behera, AGM, East Coast Railway, and saw participation from senior officers, members of the East Coast Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides, RPF personnel, and railway staff. Presidents and members of the Rotary Club of Jagannath Dham Puri and Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar Galaxy also took part, distributing eco-friendly cotton bags and advocating against the use of single-use plastic carry bags.

Shri Dinesh Kumar, Dy CME (Coaching & EnHM), East Coast Railway, coordinated the event.
