PM Modi Voices Concerns on Middle East Conflict in Call with Netanyahu

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday engaged in a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the intensifying conflict in the Middle East.

During the call, PM Modi voiced his concerns over the rising tensions in West Asia, stating firmly that “terrorism has no place in our world.” He highlighted the necessity of preventing further regional escalation and called for the safe release of all hostages. Modi reaffirmed India’s commitment to aiding efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.

This discussion comes amidst ongoing airstrikes by Israel against the Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon, which have reportedly targeted several high-ranking officials, including the group’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah.
