Odisha Hosts Successful Ambassadors’ Meet, Showcases Investment Opportunities Ahead of Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025

New Delhi: The Government of Odisha organised a successful Ambassadors’ Meet at ITC Maurya, New Delhi, laying the groundwork for the upcoming Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025. Held in the Diplomatic Enclave, the event showcased Odisha’s dynamic industrial ecosystem and highlighted new investment prospects to a global audience.

The meet drew participants from 34 countries, including Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Consul-Generals, Trade Commissioners, and senior diplomats from nations like Indonesia, Norway, Singapore, China, Japan, the USA and the UK. Additionally, nine foreign associations attended, reflecting growing global interest in Odisha.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi delivered a keynote address, highlighting Odisha’s strategic location, rich heritage, abundant natural resources, and skilled workforce. He invited the international community to the Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, set for January 28-29 in Bhubaneswar, emphasising collaboration and growth.

The event featured engaging discussions between diplomats and Odisha’s leadership, focusing on the state’s investment potential. Minister Sampad Chandra Swain of Industries and Skill Development expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and reinforced Odisha’s commitment to creating a favourable business environment.

Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja highlighted Odisha’s rapidly growing status as a global investment destination, citing its strong infrastructure, skilled workforce, and progressive policies. He urged global partners to explore opportunities in industries, technology, tourism and innovation.

The event also featured a video launch on the Make in Odisha 2025 initiative, showcasing the state’s investment potential. Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary of Industries, presented key sectors open for investment, while FICCI’s Director General Jyoti Vij and Nivruti Rai of Invest India discussed collaboration and investment trends.
