Bike-Borne Miscreants Snatch ₹3.25 Lakh from Woman Returning from Bank in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: In a brazen daylight robbery, two bike-borne miscreants snatched Rs 3.25 lakh cash from a woman in the Chandrasekharpur area of Bhubaneswar on Thursday. The incident occurred near the State Bank of India’s Chandrasekharpur Phase-I branch.

According to sources, the victim, Pratima Behera, along with her brother, had just withdrawn the money from the State Bank of India’s Chandrasekharpur Phase-I branch. As they were heading home, two criminals on a bike approached from behind, snatched the cash bag from Pratima and fled the scene.

Following a complaint filed by the victim, police arrived at the location, reviewed CCTV footage and launched an investigation to track down the culprits.
