2 Brothers Hack Youth To Death on Road in Sundargarh Dist

Rourkela: Two brothers chased and hacked a youth to death with sharp weapons at the Ratnapur village under the Sundargarh Sadar police station on Monday morning.

The deceased identified as Manoj Sha alias Pandu was murdered by Vijay Mahanandia and Dulamani Mahanandia, who are brothers.

According to reports, Manoj had visited the house of Mahanandias and the three had an altercation over some matter.

The two brothers beat up Manoj. When Manoj tried to run to escape, the two brothers chased and attacked him with sharp weapons. Locals rushed profusely bleeding Manoj to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.

On being informed, a police team visited the village for investigation. The two assailant brothers have absconded following the incident.
