Blast Blows Away Bullock’s Jaw as It Chews Bomb Meant for Poaching in Keonjhar Dist

Keonjhar: A bullock’s jaw was blown off when it accidentally chewed a bomb hidden for poaching in Keonjhar district on Monday.

One Ramesh Mahakud of Khuntapada village has complained about this incident to the forest department. He had reportedly taken a herd of cattle for grazing into the forest area. One of his bullocks suddenly chewed up bomb hidden in the jungle. Its jaw was blown off as the bomb blasted in its mouth.

It is suspected that the bomb which hidden for poaching wild boars in the area.

The blast blew of the tongue and teeth of the bullock. The critically injured domestic animal is battling for its life. The villagers and Mahakud have demanded the Forest Department to identify the persons who had planted the bomb and initiate legal action against them.
