4 Cubs Born to Tigress In Panna Tiger Reserve

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh’s Panna Tiger Reserve (PTR) has new guests this Durga Puja as a tigress has given birth to four cubs in sanctuary. With these newborn tiger cubs, the number of big cats in the reserve has risen to 90.

The tigress named P-141 was pregnant at the end of the previous tourist season in July. The tiger reserve closed down for tourists from July 1.

The tiger reserve management managed to take a photo of tigress P-141 along with its four cubs two days back. They would be added attraction for the tourists during the current season.

The tiger reserves and national parks remain closed from July 1 to September 30 for the annual monsoon season.
