Savitri Jindal, 2 Independent MLAs Expected To Support BJP In Haryana

Chandigarh: Haryana’s three Independent MLAs, including India’s richest woman Savitri Jindal, are expected to support the BJP government in the state.

These three independent MLAs, Savitri Jindal, Devender Kadyan and Rajesh Joon are to meet the BJP high command and the state election in-charge of the BJP Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday, said a NDTV report.

Savitri Jindal, a former minister in the last Congress government in Haryana won as an independent from the Hisar Assembly seat.

Kadyan, a BJP rebel, won from Ganaur as an Independent. Joon secured victory in Bahadurgarh.

The BJP has already crossed the halfway mark in the Haryana Assembly with 48 seats in its bag. The support from three Independents will enhance its strength in the 90-member Assembly.
