Sunny Deol Starrer Hanuman Will be Standalone Film in Ramayan Trilogy: Report

The second film in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayan trilogy will be a standalone on Hanuman with Sunny Deol in the lead, reported India Today.

According to the India Today report, this movie on Lord Hanuman will explore his connection to Vanwas and Sita’s abduction.

In this trilogy, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are acting as Lord Ram and Mata Sita. The production work of the first movie in the trilogy is currently ongoing in Film City in Mumbai.

The first film will tell the Ramayan’s events until Sita’s abduction by Raavan. The third film based on the aftermath of Sita being abducted by Raavan, stated the India Today report. . The film is currently being shot in parallel so that there are no long gaps between the releases of this trilogy, the report added.

Reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan will lend his voice to Jatayu. On the other hand, Ravi Dubey will be seen as Laxman, Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, Rakul Preet Singh as Shurpanakha, Arun Govil as Dashrath, and Harman Baweja as Vibhishan.
