Two Minor Sisters Meet Watery Grave in Pond in Balasore Dist

Balasore: Two minor sisters drowned in a pond at Kharasahapur village under Soro police station limits in Balasore district on Wednesday.

The deceased sisters were identified as Rajalaxmi Behera (16), a student of Class 10 and Bhagyalaxmi Behera (14), studying in Class 8.

These daughters of Manas Behera slipped into deep waters of the pond while taking bath on Wednesday afternoon.

When they did not return home for long, their family members searched for them and found their chappals on the embankment of the pond.

Later both of them were fished out of the water in unconscious condition. They were rushed to the Soro Hospital, where doctors declared  both of them brought dead.
