2 Arrested for Rape, Murder of 10-Yr-Old Girl in Nabarangpur Dist

Nabarangpur: Two youths were arrested in the brutal rape and murder case of a 10-year-old girl in the Tentulikhunti area of Nabarangpur district.

The accused of this heinous crime were identified as Alekh Majhi (20) and Paramanand Disari (24), both hailing from Tentulikhunto area.

According to police sources, the arrested accused persons have confessed to raping the girl and murdering her out of fear of being exposed.

The mutilated body of the 10-year-old girl was recovered from a bush near a village school on September 17. After investigation, Alekh Majhi and Paramanand Disari aged 20 and 24 respectively were arrested.

The girl’s body bore deep injuries and her mouth was stuffed with a towel while her dress was found some meters away from the body.
