2 Dead, 7 Seriously Injured in Accident at Rungta Mines in  Dhenkanal Dist

Dhenkanal: At least two persons lost their lives and seven others were seriously injured in an accident at a steel plant owned by Rungta Mines under Hindol division in Dhenkanal district on Monday.

According to reports, the mishap occurred when a mechanical structure fell on the staff of the mines. The affcted labourers were engaged in shifting iron plates in the plant. Two persons are said to have died on the spot. Around seven seriously injured persons were reportedly admitted to a nearby hospital.
