2 Killed, 8 Injured as SUV Hits Divider in Sundargarh Dist

Sundargarh: Two persons died and eight others were injured when a Bolero in which they were travelling crashed to a divider on NH 143 near Dhanaghara under Chandiposh police station limits in Sundargarh district on Friday morning. According to reports, the ill-fated vehicle was on its way to Rourkela from Bhogarai.

There were ten persons in the vehicle. All of them were seriously injured in the accident. They were rushed to the local hospital where two of them succumbed to their injuries.

It is suspected that reckless driving may have caused the incident.

Local police have seized the vehicle and have detained the driver for interrogation as part of the investigation into the incident.
