2 Medical Students Drown to Death, Another Missing at Jalatarangini Waterfalls in AP

Amaravati: Two students of Eluru Asram Medical College in Andhra Pradesh drowned and another is still missing at Jalatarangini Waterfalls in Alluri Sitarama Raju district near Andhra-Odisha border.

This group of medical students faced the mishap while taking photos at the waterfall.

Local police managed to rescue two medical students. They were admitted to a local hospital.

Around 14 medical students from the Eluru Asram Medical College were at the waterfall on a picnic. Five of them were clicking photos near the waterfall when they were swept away by a sudden surge in water flow.

Two of them met watery grave while another is still missing. , reports said.

The waterfall is in a dense forest area. According to sources, it was suddenly flooded due to the ongoing rainfall.
