2 Terrorists Killed in Encounter in Kashmir’s Baramulla

Srinagar: Two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday. The encounter occurred between terrorists and the Army and Baramulla Police in the forward area of Uri, Hathlanga in Baramulla district, informed the Kashmir Zone Police on X.

Kashmir Police Zone later informed that two terrorists were killed in the operation. Further details are awaited.

A day back a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module was busted in the Baramulla district with the arrest of two terrorist associates with the seizure of arms and ammunition from them. They were involved in cross-border smuggling of arms and ammunition at the behest of Pakistan-based terror handlers and were supplying them to LeT terrorists.
