28 Including Women, Children Die As Bus Falls Into Ravine in Pakistan

At least 28 people, including women and children, died when a speeding passenger bus fell into a ravine in Pakistan’s Balochistan province on Wednesday.

According to Pakistan media, the bus travelling from Turbat to Quetta, fell into the ravine near Washuk town. As per reports, the accident was caused by over speeding. Several women women and children were among the deceased.

Geo News reported that the accident occurred when the tyre of the passenger bus burst. More than 22 persons were injured in this accident. They were admitted to the Civil Hospital in Basima.

On May 18, at least 13 people of a family died as a truck plunged into a ditch in Punjab’s Khushab district in Pakistan.

On May 3, at least 20 people lost their lives when a passenger bus fell into a ravine in Gilgit Baltistan of Pakistan.
