3 Gunmen Open Fire Near Jerusalem, Shot Dead by Israel Police

Three gunmen opened fire at a checkpoint near Jerusalem on Thursday. Israeli police “neutralized” the assailants.

According to Israeli police, at least four persons were injured by the firing by the attackers. All of them received gunshot wounds.  All the injured were security personnel.

This attack on a checkpoint guarding access to road tunnels linking the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem occurred on the 41st day of the war between Israel and Hamas militants.

On October 7, Hamas attacked Israel killing 1200 people. Hams also took around 240 hostages. In retaliation Israel has attacked Gaza and the death count from the military offensive is said to have crossed 11,500, including thousands of children.
