3 Labourers Killed of Asphyxiation in Under-Construction Septic Tank in Sambalpur Dist

Sambalpur: Three labourers died of asphyxiation while working at an under-construction septic tank of a toilet at Pukura village under Jamankira police station in Sambalpur district on Saturday. They were trapped inside the septic tank as its roof collapsed. Another worker was seriously injured.

The deceased were identified as Srikant Munda, Bharat Rana and Basanti Dehuri.

The locals immediately rushed the injured workers to a nearby hospital at Fasimal, where doctors declared three of them dead. The other seriously injured labourer, Siddharth Munda was shifted to the Sambalpur district headquarters hospital.
