3 Odia Players in 18-Member Squad For Sultan of Johor Cup In Malaysia from Oct 19

Bhubaneswar: Three Odisha players have been included in the Indian Junior Men’s Hockey Team to play in the Sultan of Johor Cup tournament in Malaysia from October 19.

The Odia players included in the squad for this international tournament include defender Anmol Ekka, midfielders Mukesh Toppo and Rosan Kujur.

On Sunday, Hockey India declared the final list of 18 players selected to represent the country in the 12th edition of the Sultan of Johor Cup tournament in Malaysia.

Newly appointed Head Coach, PR Sreejesh will be in charge with Amir Ali as Captain and Rohit named as his deputy.

India will play its first match against Japan on 19th October, followed by a clash against Great Britain on 20th October. India will face hosts Malaysia on 22nd October, followed by a match with Australia on 23rd October. On 25th October, India will take on New Zealand.
