3 Odisha Youths Kill Driver in Maharshtra, Mumbai Police Arrests 1 from Kalahandi

Bhubaneswar: Mumbai Police arrested a youth from Bhawanipatna in Odisha’s Kalahandi district for his involvement in the murder of a car driver in Maharashtra. The arrested person was one among the trio from Odisha, who committed the murder.

The arrested accused was identified as Dharmanand Jala of Kokodmal village in Utkela panchayat within Bhawanipatna Sadar limits.

Search is on to nab two other accused Raju Jala and Sesa Meher of Daspur village.

These three youths were employed in a firm in Palghar of Maharashtra. It is alleged that they rented a vehicle to visit Nashik. They allegedly killed the driver of the vehicle, disposed his body in a jungle, and escaped to Odisha.

Mumbai Police officials investigating the case identified the killers and they have reached Odisha to arrest the accused. Arrested Dharmanand will be produced in the local court and then taken to Maharashtra on remand.
