3 UP Men Arrested for Trying Illegal Entry Into Parliament Complex Using Fake Aadhaar Cards

New Delhi: Three labourers from Uttar Pradesh were arrested for attempting to enter the Parliament complex by using forged Aadhaar cards.

The three persons arrested by the Delhi Police were identified as Kasim, Monis and Soyeb. They were booked under charges of forgery and cheating.

The trio were intercepted and taken into custody by CISF personnel deployed at the flap gate entry of Parliament House on Tuesday.

When the accused presented their Aadhaar cards to the CISF personnel, they found the documents were found to be forged.

Investigation revealed that they were hired by a firm engaged in the construction of the MP’s lounge inside the Parliament complex.

The three accused were handed over to the Delhi Police by the CISF personnel and an FIR was registered against them under sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Section 465 (forgery), Section 419 (cheating by personation), Section 120B (criminal conspiracy), Section 471 (using as genuine a forged document) and Section 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating).
