4 Dead, 2 Injured as Car Hits Tractor in Nuapada District

Nuapada: As many as four persons died and two others were critically injured when the car in which they were travelling hit a tractor near Lachhipur on Khaial-Bhawanipatna Road in Nuapada district on Sunday night.

The four deceased were identified as Rishi Sahu, Subham Mahauti, Debendra Lala and Debraj Patel. All of them were travelling in the car. According to sources, they were on their to Tukla village to attend the birthday party of Rishi’s elder brother.

The car hit the tractor from the backside. Both injured persons were travelling on the tractor. The injured duo have been admitted to the Khariar Sub-Divisional Hospital and are undergoing treatment there.

After receiving information, Khadiar police reached the spot and seized the bodies for postmortem and investigation.
