7 Killed, 25 Injured as Bus With Pilgrims Falls Into Ravine in Jammu

Jammu: Seven persons died and 25 others were injured when a bus with pilgrims skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Jammu district on Thursday.

The accident occurred at the Tangli morh in the Choki Chora belt of the Jammu district. The ill-fated bus rolled around 150 feet down into the ravine.

The vehicle was carrying pilgrims from the Kurukshetra area of Haryana to the Shiv Khori in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district.

The injured have been shifted to the Akhnoor hospital and Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Jammu.
