Bhopal: Seven persons died when a dilapidated wall adjacent to a house collapsed on Thursday during heavy rains in the Datia town of Madhya Pradesh.
The wall collapsed at around 4 am in the Khalkapura area of Datia.
Nine persons were trapped under the debris of the collapsed wall. Seven persons were killed and two others rescued.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the family of each of the victims.
