Ambulance Crushes Minor Boy to Death in Nabarangpur, Father Injured

Nabarangpur: A minor boy died and his father was seriously injured in an accident involving an ambulance in Nabarangpur district of Odisha.

The accident occurred on the National Highway at Mahendra village under the Jharigaon Town Police Station of Nabarangpur district.

The ambulance hit the father-son duo from the back, who were travelling on a bicycle. The eight-year-old boy died in the spot while his father was critically injured. The injured man was admitted to the Dabugaon Community Health Centre (CHC).

Locals blocked the road at Mahendra square along with the dead body of the boy.

Local police have reached the spot to pacify the protestors.
